Born in Chicago and relocated to the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area when I was 9 years old. Attended Nova High School.
Attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business.
Attended Keller Graduate School of Management in Phoenix earning an M.B.A. with Distinction.
My career began with Nationwide Insurance in Columbus, Ohio as a Computer Programmer. Programming continued at Walt Disney Productions in Orlando, Fl.
I worked for Amercian Express in Ft. Lauderdale, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City with various positions including programming and Corporate Audit.
Beginning in 1990 and until the middle of 2014, I worked for DeVry Univesity as a Professor and an Associate Dean of the College of Engineering & Information Sciences.
I am married to a wonderful woman for 22 years, Diane and we have three children and three grandchildren. Our hobbies include movies, sports (Cardinals, DBacks, & Coyotes ticket holders), family time, and of course, travel!
