Career consultant, expert witness, author and public speaker, Brad Taft is Chief Career Strategist of the Taft Resource Group and provides outplacement and career transition consulting to individuals. He is also Managing Director of Taft Vocational Experts, which provides expert witness services in employment related lawsuits. Brad has keynoted and delivered workshops on a variety of employment topics including talent management, diversity and career transition. He is co-author of two books on workforce issues: Boom or Bust!: New Career Strategies in a New America - The Career Management Guide for Baby Boomers and Beyond, and Return of the Boomers - a Leader's Guide to Using the Resources of the Maturing Workforce for a Competitive Advantage. He is co-author of a bi-weekly newsletter on changing workplace and workforce issues, and he has two websites: www.WorkingMyWay.com emphasizes career transition issues and www.AgelessInAmerica.com provides information and resources on the maturing workforce and the changing workplace. Brad has over 25 years experience in the recruiting, organizational development and career management consulting fields. His early career was in executive recruiting with firms including Korn/Ferry International. Brad then moved to the outplacement and organizational development consulting industry, where in addition to founding two of his own companies he held senior level consulting, management and marketing positions with Lee Hecht Harrison, Right Management Consultants and Spherion Human Capital Consulting. Brad received a B.A. in Communications and a M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. He holds the highest certification designations in the human resources and career consulting fields: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Career Management Fellow (CMF).
