Mitra has been a part of NetworkingPhoenix.com since April 2009 and has been a very intregal part of the team since the day she joined. Currently, as the Director of Operations, she oversees the daily operations of the company and interfaces with our members and partners on a daily basis.
Mitra's background includes extensive experience in sales and management. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Communications, Mitra began a career in retail management. In this position, she was able to develop her skills as an effective communicator, motivator and manager.
Due to her proven success in producing positive sales results with her team, Mitra rose to a position as the West Region Management Trainer for the same company. As a trainer, Mitra was responsible for teaching sales and business strategies to aid in store profitability and the development of company management. Having demonstrated her leadership abilities once again, Mitra accepted a District Director position in which she ran the Arizona and Nevada markets.
It was at this point in her career that she truly learned the importance of networking. Building professional relationships within these markets was instrumental in recruiting and staffing efforts. Continuing on her journey of expanding her skills, Mitra decided to switch gears and try her hand in a different working environment.Realizing that networking is a crucial piece of building out any career, Mitra decided to find a position within a networking company/organization to truly learn the ins and outs of this highly explosive industry.
