For over twenty years Alex has focused on improving businesses throughout North America as a consultant and specialty contractor. During this time he has leveraged his considerable experience in Operational Management, Program and Project Management, Technology Analysis, Production and Inventory Control, Quality Systems, Financial Analysis and Continuous Improvement.

Adjunct faculty in Project Management at both Oakland and Macomb Commmunity Colleges in Michigan, also designated Global Corporate Faculty in Project Management at Headstrong, the global consulting firm formerly known as James Martin + Associates, Alex has also taught Project Management to corporate clients such as EDS and General Motors. Alex developed and presented instructional materials to prepare dozens of project managers for PMP certification by PMI, the Project Management Institute.

Life-long learning and practical experience have provided Alex with a balanced (process/technology/human) orientation to projects and business systems. His technology accumen include experience in Business Analysis, Network Implementation and Administration, Website development, Hardware and Software Development, Infrastructure Integration and Process Engineering projects.

Extensive experience in team-based continuous improvement initiatives, consulting with teams of all levels from senior management to shop floor and entry level employees. Primary client industries served include Data/Telecommunications, Health Insurance and Health Maintenance Organizations, Automotive OEMs and suppliers, Medical/Surgical, Technology, Aerospace and Defense suppliers.

Entrepreneurial in nature, Alex has started or supported the start up of five successful businesses, and brings a sense of personal responsibility and ownership to every professional engagement.

Recognized leadership beyond the commercial realms, Alex has been nominated and elected to leadership positions including Secretary and President of the Board of Directors of two 501(c)-3 non-profit organizations. Alex also started and managed Familiar Friends Black Cat Rescue for several years.
