The Zonta Club of the East Valley is a not-for-profit women's service organization that is part of Zonta International, an international service organization committed to advancing the status of women worldwide. Founded in 1919, there are currently over 30,000 members in over 150 countries.
Locally, the Zonta Club of the East Valley partners with various organizations such as Save the Family, A New Leaf, NATN/SEEDs, the Arizona Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Dress for Success. Zonta also provides scholarships for high school girls as well as adult women who are pursuing degrees in Business and Engineering. Locally, we offer adult re-entry scholarships to women returning to school after overcoming personal obstacles such as domestic violence or substance abuse.
