Session 101: Beginning Users
101 overviews the power of LinkedIn as the world's largest professional networking organization with over 100 million members. This session is designed for beginners that are new to LinkedIn as well as those that have a current profile but want some basic training on the tool. Learning objectives include the understanding of WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, and WHY of LinkedIn and attendees will get the basics of setting up a profile, adding connections, and basic search techniques. It would help if attendees logged onto www.linkedin.com ahead of time and previewed the website.Session 202: Intermediate Users (51 - 499 connections)Now that you have been using LinkedIn for some time and making business connections with people, it’s time to take it to the next level. 202 is designed to guide you through how to find people you wish to connect with, people who work for the companies you aim to work with, how to effectively use LinkedIn for job search of your target companies and utilize a LinkedIn Group and how to maintain those LinkedIn connections beyond LinkedIn.Session 303: Advanced Users (500+ connections)303 is targeted to anyone that wants to expand their knowledge of LinkedIn and take their game to the highest networking levels. * Computers will be available but wireless is also available if you want to bring your own laptop.For Boomers (all levels welcome)This event is open to any and all baby boomers who want to learn more about LinkedIn regardless of your proficiency level.For Job Seekers (all levels welcome)This workshop is designed for any and all job seekers regardless of proficiency level on LinkedIn, beginner or advanced.
