Feel Free to Never Call Me Again

So the other day I was sitting in my office and I got a call from someone I met at my Signature Event and talked to for about a minute. In the 60 seconds that we communicated, the guy never asked about me (I ended up telling him this was my event at the end), told me all about him AND proceeded to tell me that if I gave him ALL my contact info he’d enter me in a drawing to a win a gift card to a restaurant I’ve never heard of. Yay!

If you know me at all…you know I’m very playful. OK, dude, I’ll give you my number. Yes, my real one and I DARE you to call me :)

Don't Give that Spammer Your Biz Card!

OK...we've all been there when someone is asking us for our business card and inside your head the little voice says 'OMG, I don't want to give you my card. You're just going to add me to your spam list but I don't know what to do right now because I'm networking and I think I'm supposed to give you my card!'

You know what I'm talking about...right? So what do you do?

Signature Event Recap - February 23rd, 2010

How many events do I need to have before I stop worrying about no one showing up?? Fortunately, that wasn’t the case on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010, when approximately 1,250 networkers attended to our Signature Event! One of those guests was the Phoenix Suns Gorilla – even he knew it was a must attend event!

As on many other occasions, I was sitting in my office and got a call from a number I didn’t recognize. I decided to grab this call and was proceeded to be greeted by Linc Miller of Sandler Training. I didn’t know Linc but he had said that he got my info from someone else that I’d previously met, Greg DePinto from Sage.

I definitely have much to be Thankful for this year! Not only is NetworkingPhoenix.com the most popular website in Arizona (outside of publication and government sites) but we also have over 6,500 opt-in members that we acquired in 13 months and some of the best attended networking events in town!

On Thursday, August 20th the Coronado Ballroom at the Scottsdale Resort & Conference Center was transformed into a networking frenzy as the third NetworkingPhoenix.com Signature Event went off with a bang! With approximately 1,000 networkers in attendance, the energy level and the professional connections taking place were off the charts.

$6 Million for 6 Million: Fundraising Effort to Make 88 year old Survivor’s Story into a Film

Phoenix, Arizona, August 14, 2009 – Launch flix, a production company, today unveiled a new “micro fundraising” campaign called “Six Million for Six Million.” The group is making a feature film with a $6 million total budget based on the life story of eighty-eight year old Holocaust survivor and author Dr. Henry A. Oertelt. Dr. Oertelt’s award-winning book is called An Unbroken Chain, My Journey through the Nazi Holocaust. Born in Berlin Germany, of Jewish faith, Dr. Oertelt was twelve years old when Hitler came to power in 1933.

New Group - AZIMA

Just came back from the AZIMA Facebook event tonight and it was awesome!!!

The room was full of marketing professionals and the networking was great. This is one of those oganizations where you'll meet people that you typically wouldn't meet out and about.

I highly recommend you attend it next month. The price includes 2 free drinks and dinner!
